Jungle Island’s offers Two Entertaining Shows featuring some of the wildest animals from around the globe. From the world’s most lethal bird to some of the most deadly snakes found anywhere, these are animals you will have to see to believe.

 

WINGED WONDER SHOW:

Showtimes Generally at 11:00am, 1:35pm & 4:10pm - Subject to Change

Winged Wonders captivates audiences with some of the most beautiful, playful, and dangerous birds from all over the world.

Enjoy some laughs from our feathered chatter boxes, catch the thrill of a huge vulture flying inches above your head, and be amazed as a six-foot tall Cassowary swallows an apple—whole.

Before the show, be sure to lookout for Pinky, the iconic cockatoo who has been entertaining audiences for decades by riding his high-wire bicycle.

TALE OF THE TIGER:

Tale of the Tiger is an upclose, uncaged, unbelievable interaction with the worlds rarest big cats & their human companions. This show features many rare and unique varieties of big cats, including four fantastic colors of tigers.

Throughout the year, a rotating cast of big cats make appearances in the Jungle Theater from tigers to Black Panthers, Lynx to Spotted Leopards, Cougars to Ligers. And of course, there is always an assortment of cuddly cubs who are sure to bring a smile to your face. Other animals join the cast of Tale of the Tiger including Orangutans, Chimpanzees, Binturongs, Gibbons, Capuchins, Lemurs and more!

JUNGLE ISLAND EXHIBITS:

In addition to Shows - Jungle Island Offers many more self guided and interactive Exhbits. There is something for everyone at Jungle Island Park. Visit these Fun Exhibits:

 

• La Playa: Jungle Island's own private beach where you can relax under an umbrella, have a swim or enjoy a frozen cocktail, all while the kids romp on an inflatable water slide or bounce house. Miami'sonly private beach in a public facility, La Playa boast magnificent views of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay. Stop by to stay cool and relaxed in between one of Jungle Island's fun animal shows.

• Everglades Habitat & Walk: Make your way across a true replica of the Florida Everglades, complete with beautiful flora and fauna from the region. You might even witness the feeding habits of our alligators!

• Feed The Birds: Many of our magnificent birds enjoy being fed by you, our guests. You’ll find them along our jungle paths with food dispensers at each location.

 

• Primate Exhibit & Presentation: Come experience the hilarious actions and reactions of Jake and Hanna, our amazing and smart orangutans. Capuchin monkeys, saimang and gibbons swing into action. Upside down, right side up, left, right, top and bottom, they move with amazing agility and surprising speed. Their antics and tactics will delight and astound you. Enjoy a ten-minute presentation about our rambunctious and entertaining primates. A question-and-answer session by one of our Primate experts will follow.

• Lorikeet Aviary: Visit our beautiful and funny rainbow colored parrots in their open air aviary. Black-winged, Ornate, Rosenberg’s Lorikeets and many more.

• Manu Encounter: Fashioned after the clay cliffs in Manu, Peru. This is an interactive experience with Squirrel Monkeys, free-flying macaws and parrots as well as other exotic animals. A ten minute presentation on the habits and habitats of these animals will be given by one of our Animal Care Trainers who will remain present to answer questions relating to this exhibit.

 

• Interact with Trainers and Animals: As you wonder through the park, you’ll encounter our trainers who host an assortment of animals. Touch, ask questions, and make friends.

• Penguin Exhibit: Our South African penguins are so adorable. Come see our fluffy little friends swim and waddle around their penguin pool.

• Tortoise Exhibit: You’ll be astonished at the size of these giant tortoises. Some males grow to 500 pounds and can live for 150 years.

• Crocodile Care: One of our reptile experts will give a brief commentary and answer questions. You can also take a walk on the wild side and see a unique and rare Albino alligator.

PARK REGULATIONS:

• For the safety of the animals and guests, Jungle Island does not permit outside food, drinks, or coolers are allowed in the park. For your convenience, you may leave these items in the Guest Relations office, and you are welcome to enjoy them in the plaza area.

• All guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. (Except on La Playa, where footwear is required, but beachwear is permitted.)

• Animals, excluding service dogs, are not allowed.

• Jungle Island reserves the right to check all bags for security purposes.

• Jungle Island reserves the right to remove any person from Jungle Island at the discretion of the Management.

• Jungle Island is not responsible for any loss and/or theft of personal belongings

• Please exercise caution when feeding the birds and animals on Jungle Island.

• Please walk along the trails and do not climb railings or any of the exhibits.

• For the health and safety of the animals, smoking is permitted only in designated areas.

• Ongoing video, audio, and photographic production takes place in the park. Persons entering the park are subject to being recorded as part of our ongoing productions. By entering the park, you give the park permission to use your likeness for commercial purposes.
